If you have had a tree removed from your property for any reason you’re left with a stump and it’s roots. The option to remove it or grind it will be left up to the homeowner or business owner. Most of the time it is a better choice to have it ground down as opposed to having it removed.

Stump removal involves extracting the stump and all of the roots attached to it. This will require a heavy duty piece of digging equipment. If the roots have grown across your property that entire area will need to be excavated and fixed.

 

Stump grinding does not require removal of every tree root. Ground Zero will grind down the stump with the equipment pictured below.

 

The depth of a tree trunk varies by the type of tree. Grinding the stump down into the ground leaves a much smaller hole repair then removing it completely.

 

Our motto is handling the job completely with proper clean up after we grind or remove the stump. We will come out and give you our recommendations based on the job site.
